Masterclass Nuno Felt workshop

From 2nd September 2017 to 2nd September 2017

Local textile artist Sue Clay is holding a masterclass workshop in Nuno Felt alongside her exhibition "Felt Good".
10am – 4pm £48 including a buffet lunch and refreshments and all materials, plus free admission to the museum.

Tea For Two or More!

From 9th September 2017 to 10th September 2017

Lots of scones being baked in our Victorian kitchen and cream teas in our Spring Rock Tea Room.

Traditional crafts demonstrated throughout the day and a chance to investigate our hidden well! (hard hats provided).

Working Crafts Weekend

From 30th September 2017 to 1st October 2017

A chance to see many traditional crafts being demonstrated including clog making, spinning, weaving, lace-making, bread making and many more.

Parkin Bake

From 28th October 2017 to 29th October 2017

Come in out of the cold and see how traditional parkin is made in our Victorian kitchen. Try some upstairs in our Spring Rock Tea Room or take some home for tea....mmmmn.

Stir Up Sunday

From 19th November 2017 to 19th November 2017

Find out about the traditions of Christmas.
Come and help Mrs Sykes stir up her Christmas puddings! (And make a wish.)
Buy one for a thoughtful Christmas present or for your own celebrations.

A Victorian Christmas

From 2nd December 2017 to 3rd December 2017

Celebrate Christmas the Victorian way - lots of old fashioned games, mince pies and Father Christmas sitting by the fire.
